Historic Villa

Villa Robenstein & SPA takes you back to splendid and majestic times. Built in 1914, Rabenstein Castle has been extensively renovated in recent years and awaits you with unique, individual rooms and great exclusive services. The villa is only accessible for adults and has its own SPA area only for villa guests. Enjoy your morning coffee in the Executive Lounge or let the sun’s rays strengthen you on our outdoor terrace.

In 1914, Rabenstein Castle was built above the Zwiesel Valley by the glass barons Egon and Hans von Poschinger. Luxurious marble, valuable stucco work and stylish facade elements combined to create an extraordinary building. After the end of the war, the venerable castle and its annex became a care and rehabilitation facility. Since 2019, the castle and hotel building have been extensively renovated and converted into a first-class hotel. The Robenstein Hotel & SPA opened its doors in July 2021 for guests from near and far. With the name Robenstein, the hotel stands on the one hand for the history of the Zwiesel district of Rabenstein, which it derives from the historical word Robenstain, and on the other hand for passion as a host. The villa is only accessible to adults, unfortunately we can not welcome animals in the villa rooms, gladly you and your four-legged friend can book in the Hauspthaus.

Main complex

The main house keeps the right room ready for every stay. Whether suites with 70 m² or a spacious double room for a short stay, here you will find just the right thing for your vacation. The historically inspired facade blends wonderfully with the surroundings and will make you feel at home from the very beginning of your vacation. Palate delights in the restaurant, excellent drinks at the bar or a few puffs in the swimming pool, our main house fulfills (almost) every wish.

Sauna-Village

Since the end of November 2021 (opening) you can look forward to our sauna village and the roof terrace with a beautiful view. From here you can reach our hotel’s own forest via a small bridge. Chirping birds, delicate rays of sunlight peeking through the leafy canopy and a breeze. The forest surrounds our guests with its wonderful smell and gives a view of the mountain landscape of Bavaria. Our unique sauna village welcomes you with all senses and makes your stay special. Various saunas and lounging areas, seclusion and the “window to peace” await you.
